Who is be-space ?
 
be-space produces, presents and coordinates art events in the Bay Area. be-space is a continuation
of former CultureLounge, which presented and marketed innovative contemporary art by local and inter-
national artists. be-space will continue the presentation of various forms of art, literature and cultural
events, to provide a forum for artists, collectors, curators and the public to participate in a multi-level
artistic exchange.

various venues in the San Francisco Bay Area.

  Other Words is a biannual international poetry festival, presented at several local venues in San Francisco,
co-sponsored by the San Francisco offices of many international cultural institutes and consulates, along
with local literary arts organizations. 		 
Berlin & Beyond
 next festival: January 11 - 17 2007  
 

BERLIN & BEYOND has been annually presented by the San Francisco Goethe-Institut, together with the
Castro Theatre and the Consulates General of Germany since January 1994.

As the largest festival for German language films in the US, BERLIN & BEYOND has established itself as an
important event, unique for the Bay Area and California. This year’s festival was a great success. Twenty
five films attracted 10,000 Film friends and experts from a wide variety of communities throughout the
Bay Area.

Since 4 years, be-space is involved with fundraising and event management for Berlin & Beyond.

  
MMG & MMG Foundation
    
  MMG stands for Michael Martin Galleries and is the newest project of be-space owner Kit Schulte, starting
